We’ve all heard the saying, “A healthy workforce is a productive workforce”. Well, we at IMARC – www.imarcresearch.com -- have not only heard this saying, we take it seriously. Maintaining a healthy workforce can have some obvious benefits (www.wellnessproposals.com) including increased morale, commitment, and productivity, but it all starts with establishing a company-wide mindset that makes employee well-being a priority. It’s one thing to just talk about wellness. It’s quite another to live it out, and so iFit was developed to help empower our employees to live out their wellness and make it a way of life.
iFit offers our employees a variety a wellness driven opportunities (www.corporatewellness.com) including: Health Screenings, Fitness Tracking, Health Management Programs, and Educational Meetings. Participating in these activities will earn our employees prizes, but what seems to motivate most people is competition. Our most recent challenge included 3 teams competing to be the first to walk 1 MILLION steps. Each employee was provided a pedometer to track their progress, and we had some outstanding results. In a little over a month’s time, our employees recorded over 2.65 MILLION steps, each one a reflection of our commitment to making wellness a way of life.
IMARC’s iFit program will continue to be promoted within the company. Our employees have developed a healthy mindset and future competitions are being planned.
