Rachel Silver

Clinical Research Associate

Rachel joined IMARC in October 2011, from the Kensey Nash Corporation where she held the role of Biomaterials Research and Development Engineer. During her time as an engineer, Rachel coordinated pre-clinical animal studies which included generating and reviewing protocols, making research sites pre- and post-study visits and working with contract research organizations, surgeons, and study staff.

Utilizing her background as an engineer, Rachel brings a unique perspective and wide valuable tool set to the IMARC team. Her critical thinking skills allow her to apply the regulations across various protocols and study types. Rachel currently works on a number of studies including research involving cardiovascular devices, functional electrode stimulation (FES) devices, and cell therapy studies.

Even while juggling a full monitoring work load, Rachel contributed to IMARC’s whitepaper collection with her Regulations Revelations paper, documenting case studies where regulations applied to our daily work.

Rachel is a member of the Society of Clinical Research Associates, Association of Clinical Research Professionals, and Society of Women Engineers. She also holds a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.
