Stephani Hulec

Assistant Director of Clinical Monitoring Services

Stephani joined IMARC from The Cleveland Clinic where she served as a research coordinator in the department of hematologic malignancies and blood disorders. Whilst there she coordinated several clinical trials, including studies focused on myelodysplastic syndromes, bone marrow failure and leukemia. Before working as a research coordinator, Stephani was a graduate research assistant at the University of North Carolina.

Stephani has been part of the IMARC monitoring team since 2010 and has monitored studies investigating treatments for aortic and thoracic aneurysms, as well as studying imaging modalities, such as intravascular ultrasound in patients with intermediate coronary stenosis. Stephani’s experience at The Cleveland Clinic provides her with a great insight into the struggles faced by research coordinators; this has aided her in developing great relationships with those she works with. When working on a study, Stephani proactively works to address issues before they become too difficult to manage. She leads team meetings, assists fellow monitors, and directs study activities as appropriate with minimal direction from management.

Stephani is a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) from the Society of Clinical Research Associates; she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Thiel College (Greenville, PA) and her Master of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina (Charlotte, NC).
