Jeannine's contributions to IMARC's standard operating procedures, training, and clinical monitoring efforts epitomize efficiency. As a site liaison, she also assists sponsors, investigators and CROs during the device and drug research process. Her expertise extends to conducting site initiations and periodic site visits; reviewing informed consents for FDA and HIPAA compliance; and training research coordinators and physicians on study protocols and federal regulations/requirements for clinical studies.
In addition to strong clinical research skills, Jeannine's extensive nursing experience includes positions as a Utilization Review Nurse and Obstetric Nurse at EMH Regional Healthcare System, School Nurse at Lake Ridge Academy, Pediatric Home Healthcare Nurse at University Hospital Health System Home Care and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse at University Hospital Health System. At EMH, she also held a Quality Clinical Analyst post. Additionally, she has experience providing chemotherapy to both pediatrics and adult patient populations.
Jeannine has worked on numerous clinical investigations such as: Using different doses of autologous muscle derived cells for treatment of stress urinary incontinence; A comparison of a drug coated vascular stent, uncoated stent, and PTA for treatment of superficial femoral artery disease; A prospective, randomized study comparing device X to long-term drug therapy for treatment of atrial fibrillation; and physician-sponsored IDEs evaluating endovascular exclusion of abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms.
As a lifelong student of clinical research, Jeannine has undergone Phase Forward Refresher Training for Monitors with an emphasis on data entry; pursued additional education in the areas of establishing GCP Compliance in Preparation for an FDA Inspection, U.S. Radiation Experiments, Electronic Medical Records and California Health & Safety Codes; and lectured on the subject of informed consent during global monitor training. Jeannine is an RN, BSN and Certified Clinical Research Associate (ACRP).
She currently serves as Program and Education Chairman for the Northeastern Ohio Chapter of ACRP and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ashland University.
