Lauren’s introduction to clinical research began when she worked as a research assistant at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio while she pursued her nursing degree. She went on to become a Clinical Research Coordinator where she worked on various pharmaceutical trials, but knew early on that monitoring was the career path she wanted to pursue. In 2011, Lauren joined IMARC Research as a Clinical Research Associate.
During her time at IMARC, Lauren has worked on studies of various therapeutic applications, including several applications for the treatment of aortic aneurysms. In addition, Lauren works on neurologic and orthopedic studies. She is part of our physician-sponsored IDE team, monitoring for studies where the physician is both the sponsor and the site. If that’s not enough, Lauren leads IMARC’s therapeutic training committee, a group of nurses and clinicians who provide training to the staff on various therapeutic areas throughout the year. Lauren is a team player, often volunteering to help her colleagues if their schedule is busier than her own, while also ensuring her own work is done in a high quality manner.
Lauren holds her BSN from The Ohio State University. She is a member of the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA).
